COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri and Mizzou Athletics will host a ceremonial ribbon cutting to mark the completion of the Memorial Stadium Centennial Project at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 2.
The ceremony will take place at Gate 1 outside the newly renovated North End Zone. The ceremony will be emceed by Mizzou Football radio broadcaster Mike Kelly and will feature remarks from Mizzou Director of Athletics Laird Veatch, University of Missouri President Mun Choi, Mizzou football head coach Eli Drinkwitz, University of Missouri Board of Curators Chair Todd Graves, University of Missouri Board of Curators Vice Chair and Athletics Committee Chair Bob Blitz and University of Missouri Curator Michael Williams.
Veatch will be available for a brief press conference following the ceremony.

Mizzou Football opens the 2026 season Thursday, September 3, in the renovated Memorial Stadium against Arkansas Pine-Bluff, set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on SEC Network.
