Help 96.9 The Jock feed a child, change a life!
For the first time in Springfield, Zimmer Communication is partnering with Ozarks Food Harvest to host Hungerthon 2026! 96.9 The Jock will be raising money for the Weekend Backpack Program.
The Weekend Backpack Program provides weekend meals to over 1,800 kids and 60 schools across the Ozarks. The backpacks are filled with six kid-friendly meals to feed children over the weekend break from school.
Starting at 6 AM on Friday, September 11, until 1 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, The Jock will be sharing stories and messages showing the need and use of the Backpack Program and Ozarks Food Harvest.
