Mizzou Gymnastics Set for National Championship Meet on Saturday

COLUMBIA, Mo. — No. 7 University of Missouri gymnastics competes in the NCAA Championship Final on Saturday, April 19 at 3 p.m. at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, against No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 4 Utah and No. 5 UCLA. The meet will be called by John Roethelisberger, Samantha Peszek, and Aly Raisman with Taylor Davis serving as the sideline reporter. The national championship meet will be nationally broadcast on ABC.

Softball Run-Rules No. 1 Texas A&M Friday

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri softball claimed its largest all-time victory over the nation's top team with a 9-1 run-rule win over No. 1 Texas A&M Friday afternoon at Mizzou Softball Stadium. The victory the third for Missouri against the top-ranked team in the national polls (since 1999). MU picked up its second No. 1 win this season after defeating top-ranked Oklahoma, 3-1, on March 22.

Gymnastics' Helen Hu Wins Beam National Championship

FORT WORTH, Texas – University of Missouri gymnastics' redshirt senior Helen Hu (Chicago, Ill.)  won the NCAA Gymnastics Balance Beam National Championship, claiming the title at the NCAA Championship Semifinal on Thursday at Dickies Arena. Hu's title performance also keyed the Tigers advancing to the NCAA Championship Final as a team as Mizzou advanced to the Four on the Floor for the first time in program history.

Tigers Claim Nine WCGA All-American Recognitions

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri gymnastics earned nine Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) All-American recognitions, including three on the first team, the WCGA announced on Friday. Elise Tisler (Fairfax Station, Va.) was named a WCGA Vault First Team member, Mara Titarsolej (Zutphen, Netherlands) on First Team Uneven Bars and national champion Helen Hu (Chicago, Ill.) was named to the Balance Beam First Team.

Baseball Drops Both Ends of Doubleheader with No. 16 Oklahoma

No. 16 Oklahoma built early leads in both ends Friday's doubleheader sweep of University of Missouri baseball, pulling away for a 17-7 victory in the first game, before completing the sweep of the two clubs' Southeastern Conference series with a 12-1 decision in the nightcap at Taylor Stadium.

Mizzou (24-9, 5-3 SEC) advances in dramatic fashion for the second-straight meet, where the Tigers traded sticks with No. 3 Florida (22-7, 5-3 SEC).
