The Missouri State Bears are making the jump next year from FCS to FBS, and with it comes a big welcome to the big leagues.
On Wednesday, Missouri State Athletics announced that a non-conference game has been scheduled against the University of Southern California (USC) on August 30, 2025.
It will be the Bears first matchup as a member of the FBS, the highest level of collegiate football.
USC is one of the most storied programs in college football, with 11 national championships and a trove of NFL stars, both current and former.
Reports say MSU will be paid $1.15 million to travel to Los Angeles for next years’ matchup.
