COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou men’s basketball team unveiled one of its most competitive schedules in program history on Monday, releasing the full 2026-27 slate.
Highlighting the schedule is 15 games against teams that qualified for the 2026 NCAA Tournament and 12 games against teams listed in ESPN’s Preseason Top 25. Additionally, the Tigers are set to host 17 teams at Mizzou Arena with 21 total matchups inside the Show Me State borders.
The Tigers officially open the 2026-27 schedule on Tuesday, November 3, welcoming Cleveland State to Mizzou Arena for the second-straight season. Mizzou doesn’t have to wait long to face its first NCAA Tournament team, squaring off with Saint Louis at Enterprise Center on Friday, November 9.
Missouri then hosts SIUE (Nov. 9), before playing Marquette in the Legends Classic at Chicago’s United Center (Nov. 15). A five-game homestand then awaits the Tigers as MU hosts Alcorn State (Nov. 18), Le Moyne (Nov. 20), Evansville (Nov. 24), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 27) and Pittsburgh (Dec. 1).
The Tigers then hit the road for four-straight contests with three of the four games coming against teams that advanced in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. Mizzou faces Kansas in Kansas City in the StorageMart Border Showdown (Dec. 6), returns to the T-Mobile Center to square off with Nebraska (Dec. 12), play at Indiana (Dec. 18) and wraps up the stretch with Illinois in McBride Homes Braggin’ Rights in St. Louis (Dec. 20). Mizzou adds one final non-conference game on Dec. 22, hosting Chicago State.
Mizzou starts SEC play on Saturday, January 2, playing at rival Arkansas to open the conference season. The Tigers then return to Columbia and welcome Texas A&M to Mizzou Arena on January 5 or 6 for their first home game of the SEC campaign.
The Tigers also host Kentucky (Jan. 9), South Carolina (Jan. 16), Alabama (Jan. 26 or 27), Ole Miss (Jan. 30), Tennessee (Feb. 6), Oklahoma (Feb. 16 or 17), Arkansas (Feb. 23) and LSU (March 6) at Mizzou Arena.
Mizzou’s road slate includes Tennessee (Jan. 12 or 13), Oklahoma (Jan. 19 or 20), Vanderbilt (Jan. 23), Mississippi State (Feb. 2 or 3), Florida (Feb. 13), Auburn (Feb. 20), Georgia (Feb. 27) and Texas (March 2 or 3).
Finalized dates, tip times and television designations will be released at a later date.
Mizzou is coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids and double-digit SEC-win campaigns for the first time since joining the conference in 2012. The Tigers are also set to welcome the nation’s eighth-ranked freshman class and the country’s 14th-ranked transfer class to Columbia next season, in addition to six returning players from the 2025-26 campaign.
