KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the final regular season edition of the coaches Top 25 poll released on Wednesday, Valor Softball was one of six teams to hold steady, currently at #14 in the nation.
Evangel (39-9) currently sits at 246 total points earned, going 5-1 since the release of the last poll. The Valor currently hold wins over nationally ranked Oklahoma City and USAO, as well as (RV) Ottawa and OKWU, with nearly half of their losses coming to current top-25/RV or NCAA D-III opponents (Central Methodist, Hope International, Greenville, OKWU).
Valor Softball returns to action today in the KCAC Conference Tournament, taking on the 8-seeded Bethany Swedes at 11:00 a.m. in Salina, Kansas.
