The Indianapolis Colts signed 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers to their practice squad.
Rivers previously played 17 years in the NFL with the Chargers and the Colts, amassing 63,440 passing yards and 421 touchdowns, ranking seventh and sixth respectively in NFL history for these metrics.
An eight-time Pro Bowler, he exceeded 4,000 passing yards in 12 of his 15 seasons as a starting quarterback, including 4,169 yards in 2020.
