Bogenpohl Officially signs with Phillies

Former Missouri State standout baseball player Caden Bogenpohl has signed his first professional contract with the Philadelphia Phillies organization. The 2nd round pick signed on the dotted line Monday for the Phillies and became the highest drafted outfielder in Mo State history. CadenBogenpohl‘s contract was for $1,416,600 (full slot 64 value). The Jackson Mo resident is described as a player with plus-plus raw power & huge exit velos (119 mph at @MLBDraft Combine) but only 6 HR this spring. Scouts said “Bogey” was very athletic for 6’6″ 245lb frame.
