Wrestling Announces 2024-25 Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri wrestling announces a 2024-25 schedule with six home dates in Columbia. Mizzou opens its season with the annual Black and Gold scrimmage at the Hearnes Center on Oct. 25, under returning Head Coach Brian Smith for his 27th season. 

Traveling to Greeley, Colorado, the Tigers will face off against Northern Colorado for their first appearance of the season on Nov. 2. The Black and Gold will then return to Missouri and host their third annual Tiger Style Invite in Kansas City, Missouri (Nov. 9). The tournament will again be held at Staley High School, the alma mater of senior Rocky Elam

Mizzou will kick off a road series beginning with Virginia Tech on Nov. 15, traveling east to Champaign, Illinois, to take on the Fighting Illini (Nov. 21) and continuing north to Northern Iowa (Nov. 26) in Hartland, Wisconsin. The dual between the Tigers and Panthers will take place at Arrowhead High School, as Keegan O’Toole returns to his former alma mater to wrestle in front of his hometown fans his senior year.

The Tigers will return to SIUE for the third-straight year for the Cougar Clash on Dec. 7 in Edwardsville, Illinois.

The Black and Gold take on Music City for the Collegiate Duals on Dec. 21-22 at Ensworth Frist Campus in Nashville. Teams attending include Ohio State, Iowa State, UNC, Lock Haven, Penn State, University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Binghamton. 

Starting the New Year in Tiger territory, Mizzou matches up with Cornell on Jan. 3 and will stay at Hearnes Center to host Stanford (Jan. 12), Utah Valley (Jan. 17), Arizona State (Jan. 22) and West Virginia (Jan. 26). The Tigers will hit the road for a weekend trip around the Sooner State and face Oklahoma on Feb. 1 and Oklahoma State on Feb. 2. 

Returning to the Show Me State for a brief home match, Mizzou will take on Iowa State on Feb. 22 at Hearnes Center. The Big 12 Championships will return to the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on March 8-9. To close out the season, the NCAA Championships is set to take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 20-22.
