Women’s Soccer Moves on to Oklahoma

• Missouri State’s women’s soccer team will play its penultimate game of the non-conference season when it faces Oklahoma on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 1:00 p.m. in Norman.
• The Sooners lead the series 4-1-0 all-time. The teams have not met since 9/4/2011 when Oklahoma won 3-1 in Norman.
• The last time they took to the pitch, the Bears faced Kansas City in a rain-delayed match that resulted in a 0-0 draw.
• Six games in, the Bears have outshot their opponents 101-62 and have 57 shots on-goal to their opponents’ 32. With a shot accuracy of .547, the Bears are ranked 23rd in the country.
• Nationally, the Bears are ranked 55th in shots per game with an average of 16.83 and 18th in shots on goal per game with an average of 9.50
• With two shots against Kansas City, Reilly Heman leads the Bears in shooting. The sophomore has 14 total shots with seven on-goal. Heman is sixth in the conference for total shots.
• Grace O’Keefe leads the Bears in shots on-goal with a 11 out of 13 being on-target. G. O’Keefe is first in the conference for shots on-goal and 10th for total shots.
• Goalkeeper Camielle Day is getting closer and closer to another record. With the shutout in Kansas City, Day has 22 career clean sheets. She ranks third in school history behind Alexis Stormo (2001-04) with 24 and Jackie Jasper (2005-08) with 27. Day is tied for first in the MVC and 17th in the country.
