COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri soccer will travel for the first time in Southeastern Conference play to face No. 3 Arkansas on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. The match will be available to be streamed live on SECN+.
Missouri (2-6-1, 0-1-0 SEC) is coming off a 1-0 loss against Texas A&M this past Thursday night.
The Tigers pressured the Aggies throughout the contest with nine shots, including four from junior forward Kylee Simmons.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kate Phillips made her first start and second appearance of the season on Thursday.
Freshman Landis Canada has started every game this season while freshman Emily Derucki made her first start on Thursday and has played 362 minutes on the year.
Senior midfielder Milena Fischer is Mizzou’s leading scorer this season with two goals.
Arkansas (6-0-1, 1-0-0 SEC) enters Sunday on a five-game win streak following a victory over LSU on Thursday.
Graduate Kate Doyle leads the team with seven goals and three assists on the season.
The Razorbacks are coached by Colby Hale. Hale is in his 13th season with the program and has an overall record of 164-78-27. He has guided the program to three SEC Championships and has been named conference Coach of the Year twice.
Sunday will mark the 12th meeting between the two teams with the Razorbacks holding an 8-3 series lead. Arkansas won the last meeting 1-0 on September 28, 2023.
