COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri swimming and diving announced its 2024-25 schedule Tuesday, releasing dates for its 15 meets.

The regular season will showcase six meets inside Mizzou Aquatic Center, including the Show-Me Showdown (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) and Mizzou Qualifier (March 1-2), with both meets offering the Tigers an opportunity to post NCAA-worthy marks ahead of postseason competition.

“As we embark on a new season, the energy and excitement within our program is at an all-time high,” Mizzou Swimming and Diving Head Coach Andrew Grevers said. “Our athletes are motivated and ready to push boundaries, and I’m eager to see what we will accomplish together this year.”

The women’s team kicks off the campaign with a trip to Arkansas (Oct. 12), marking its first excursion to Fayetteville since 2010. The men’s side hosts its inaugural meet on Oct. 25, when both MU squads welcome Purdue to Columbia for their 2024-25 home openers.

The Tigers host Texas A&M in their lone SEC home dual of the season on Nov. 1, when the Aggies make their first trek to Columbia since 2009. Mizzou then travels to the Georgia Invite (Nov. 20-22), which marks the first of two trips to Athens for the Tigers, who will make a return trip to Gabrielsen Natatorium for the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships in late February.

The Tigers take a five-week winter break to close out 2024, but plans to send athletes to a pair of USA Swimming competitions, including the Toyota U.S. Open (Dec. 4-7), and the USA Diving Winter Nationals (Dec. 7-15).

Mizzou kicks off the new year by hosting Louisville (Jan. 3), with the two outfits meeting for a third-straight season. The Tigers then participate in their only dual of the campaign, hosting McKendree and in-state foe Missouri State (Jan. 17). The Mizzou men have defeated the Bears in 17-straight meetings, while the women have never lost in 21 all-time match-ups against MSU.

Overall, the Missouri men are 38-20-2 all-time against their 2024-25 opposition, while the women boast a 43-28 record. The next dual win for the men will be the 300th in program history.

February and March will be all about postseason preparation for the Tigers, as MU hosts the Show-Me Showdown before traveling to Athens, Ga., for a second time for the SEC Swimming and Diving Championships (Feb. 18-22).

The squad’s home finale follows, as the Mizzou Qualifier (March 1-2) will give athletes the opportunity to improve on their season bests in the hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships later in the month.

Championship festivities begin on March 10-12, as the NCAA Zone Diving Championship takes place in Iowa City, Iowa. Finally, the 2024-25 season comes to a close when the men’s and women’s NCAA Championships is contested at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, Wash. The women’s competition is slated for March 19-22, as the men follow a week later on March 26-29.
