M-S-U Bears Mourn Death of Football Player

Missouri State University is mourning the sudden death of senior football player Todric McGee.

He died Saturday morning at a Springfield hospital from injuries he sustained at his residence Friday.

He was 21-years-old. McGee was in his fifth season with the M-S-U Bears football team.

He earned all-conference honors in 2023.

The incident is under investigation.  

M-S-U Bears Football coach Ryan Beard said, in a statement: “We ask everyone to please respect the privacy of his family and our MoState football team at this time as we begin the healing process. Join us in praying for Todric and the people who loved him.”
