With teams from across the Ozarks playing for a state championship in high school football this Friday, we’ll be carrying two of those games on our airwaves.
The Fair Grove vs. Lamar Class 2 State Championship game will be broadcast on 96.9, 99.9 and AM 1060 beginning at 2:50pm, with the game scheduled to kickoff at 3:00pm on December 6.
Fair Grove is competing in a state championship game for the first time in school history, with great players such as Kellen Lair, Brock Bruner, and Spencer Seiger leading the charge.
Lamar is one of the most prestigious football programs in the state, having won nine state championships, all since 2011, and are competing in the Class 2 State title game for the fifth year in a row.
Nixa is in the midst of an undefeated season, and will take on De Smet Jesuit at 7:00pm this Friday, with pregame coverage set to begin at 6:50pm.
