The Drury Dozen is an annual list of our favorite moments of the year from Drury Athletics. The list is not necessarily the most significant events but the special games and moments we’ll always associate with 2023-24 as chosen by the Drury Athletics sports communications staff.

We’re down to our top three moments of 2023-24, and here is the runner-up finisher for our favorite moment of the year:

#2 – Taryn Overstreet’s run in the NCAA-II SuperRegional

May 6-8, 2024 – Prairie View Golf Club – Carmel, Ind.

It’s an achievement to receive an individual at-large bid to an NCAA-II SuperRegional and senior Taryn Overstreet snared that opportunity in 2024. But once there, Overstreet put together a tournament that saw her with the best finish by a Drury women’s golfer in that event in nine years. She was in second place after the first round and even had a hole-in-one during the tournament.

Overstreet eventually finished in 19th in a field of 81 and her thrilling run during the three days made it our second favorite moment of 2023-24.
