Round 2 vs. SIU! Bears, Salukis Clash Wednesday
Missouri State looks to even the score with Southern Illinois on Wednesday when the Bears entertain the Salukis at 6 p.m. at Great Southern Bank Arena in the second game between the teams in five days. Wednesday's game will be the 99th all-time meeting between the clubs, which will air on the new MVC-TV Network, including ME-TV 33.3 locally and ESPN+. The Bears are 26-16 at home against SIU (10-5 at Great Southern Bank Arena). Wednesday's game is a free scarf giveaway, courtesy of Great Southern Bank, with fans encouraged to wear white BearWear !

Record Number of Bears to be Recognized on AD Honor Roll
Missouri State University will recognize a record 356 student-athletes here Wednesday evening (Jan. 15) as honorees on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the fall 2024 semester. Missouri State's head coaches will be on hand to help recognize the honor roll recipients during halftime ceremonies of the Bears basketball game against Southern Illinois at Great Southern Bank Arena, which tips off at 6 p.m.

Salukis Spoil MoState Comeback with Overtime Decision
Visiting Missouri State overcame a 13-point second-half deficit – and 10-point margin with 3:50 to play – to force overtime here Saturday, but home-standing Southern Illinois broke open a tied game over the contest's final two minutes to score an 88-78 decision.

Red Panda Coming to Great Southern Bank Arena Feb. 12
Red Panda, declared by Sports Illustrated to be "The NBA's Favorite Halftime Show," will be making her way to Springfield on Wednesday, Feb. 12 for the Missouri State men's basketball game against Evansville at Great Southern Bank Arena. She will perform the halftime show of the 7:00 p.m. game.

Kansas City Chiefs mascot KC Wolf will make an appearance at Great Southern Bank Arena on Saturday, Jan. 25 when the Bears entertain Drake University in a key Missouri Valley Conference game at 3 p.m.

Bears, Salukis Continue Rivalry Saturday
Two teams hungry for their first Valley win of the season will square off Saturday when Missouri State hits the highway to Carbondale to take on Southern Illinois (6 p.m., ESPN+) as the Bears and Salukis begin a rare back-to-back MVC series. MoState begins the second half of the season looking for its first road victory since a Dec. 1 win at Oral Roberts, while SIU looks to improve on its 3-3 home ledger at Bantera Center this winter.
