The matchups are set for the 40th Bass Pro Tournament of Champions, coming up January 16th through the 18th at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield.
The Springfield Central Bulldogs and the Parkview Vikings will both represent Springfield Public Schools, while the Link Academy Lions from Branson will make their second appearance after winning the 2023 TOC.
Out of state teams include the Bullis Bulldogs from Potomac, Maryland, Christ The King out of Middle Village, New York (20th TOC appearance), Millennium High School from Goodyear, Arizona, Milton High School out of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Oak Ridge High School out of Orlando, Florida.
Here are the opening round matchups on Thursday, January 16th:
4:30pm—Springfield Central Bulldogs vs. Bullis Bulldogs
6:00pm—-Link Academy (Branson) vs. Millennium
7:30pm—-Christ The King vs. Milton
9:00pm.—-Oak Ridge vs. Springfield Parkview
Game times are at 4:30pm, 6pm, 7:30pm and 9pm on Thursday, with the last semifinal game on Friday set to tip at 9:30pm.
On Saturday, the 7th place game takes place at 2:30pm, followed by the Consolation finals at 4:00pm.
The Great Southern Bank Slam Dunk Contest is scheduled to start at 6:00pm, with the 3 Point Contest finals at 6:30pm.
Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson, who’s a big fan of high school basketball, will be one of the celebrity judges of the dunk contest.
The 3rd place game is scheduled to tip at 7pm Saturday, with the championship contest at 9pm.
Nixa Live, a Nixa High School class that broadcasts live events on Nixa’s YouTube channel, will live stream all 12 games of the Tournament of Champions.
