COLUMBIA, Mo. — Make it eight straight sellouts for University of Missouri football.

Saturday’s game against Buffalo officially became a sellout on Thursday, Mizzou Athletics announced, giving the Tigers three consecutive sellouts to begin the season — and eight straight sellouts dating back to the 2023 season. Mizzou announced last week that next Saturday’s game against Boston College (11:45 a.m., Sept. 14) had also sold out.

Coach Eliah Drinkwitzs No. 9 Tigers (1-0) kick off against Buffalo (1-0) at 6 p.m. on Saturday on SEC Network+. Mizzou is coming off a season-opening 51-0 victory over Murray State last Thursday. The sellout crowd of 62,621 was the program’s sixth-largest Memorial Stadium attendance for a home opener. The stretch of eight consecutive sellouts will mark the program’s longest stretch of home sellouts since a 10-game sellout streak during the 1978-79 seasons.

A limited supply of tickets remain available for home games against Southeastern Conference opponents Vanderbilt (Sept. 21) and Arkansas (Nov. 30). All tickets for home games against Auburn (Oct. 19) and No. 15 Oklahoma (Nov. 9) sold out last month.
