Fans will be introduced to members of the 2024-25 Panthers and Lady Panthers basketball teams at a Meet & Greet event this Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 pm in The Lair, located inside the O’Reilly Family Event Center. Admission to the event is free.
Fans will hear from men’s basketball head coach Chris Foster, who will begin his fourth season leading the Panthers, and from Lady Panthers head coach Kaci Bailey, who will start her second year leading the Drury women’s basketball program. Information highlighting events during the 2024-25 season will be provided and players from both rosters will be introduced.
The Drury women’s team returns two all-conference performers and eight letter winners from a squad that went 25-7, 18-4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and advanced to the NCAA-II Tournament for the 21st time in the program’s 24-year history. The Lady Panthers will add six new players in addition to three players who had redshirt seasons last year.
2024-25 will mark the 25th anniversary season of the Lady Panthers and special reunion events are planned for the upcoming season. Drury women’s basketball is scheduled to start the season on Nov. 10 with a home game against Ferris State.
The DU men’s team brings back three starters and 10 lettermen from last season’s team that went 15-13. The Panthers added seven newcomers to this year’s roster, including Division I transfers. Drury opens the season on Nov. 8 in Crest View, Kentucky against Thomas More.
