Baseball Announces Addition of Isaiah Paige as Director of Pitching Development

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Baseball Head Coach Kerrick Jackson finalized his 2025 coaching staff Thursday, announcing the addition of Isaiah Paige as the Tigers’ director of pitching development.

Paige, who officially begins his new position at Mizzou today, joins the Tigers’ staff after completing his first year as a collegiate coach at Butler University. With the Bulldogs, Paige filled the role of assistant pitching coach, while working with the club’s catchers and coordinating the program’s technical resources.

Prior to his stint in Indianapolis, Paige spent two years as a minor league coach in the Baltimore Orioles system. In his first season with the O’s, Paige worked with outfielders and baserunners as a fundamentals coach for Class High-A Aberdeen, helping the IronBirds to a South Atlantic League-best 78 victories in 2022. The following summer, he served as a pitching development coach at the Orioles Florida Complex.

Paige is a 2021 graduate of the University of Michigan, where he pitched for three seasons, earning Academic All-Big Ten accolades as a senior. During his collegiate career with the Wolverines, the Diamond Bar, California native compiled a 3.10 ERA over 46 total mound appearances, including a starting assignment in the 2019 NCAA Men’s College World Series Championship Series against Vanderbilt.
