DRURY DOZEN – the top 12 moments of ’23-24: Luke Burk sets DU single-season home run record in 8-7 win over UIS

#12 – Luke Burk sets DU’s single-season home run record in 8-7 win over Ill. Springfield
 
April 13, 2024 – Mark Worley Field at Meador Park
 
Luke Burk smacked his 14^th home run of the year as the Panthers beat rival Illinois Springfield in the second game of a doubleheader on April 13, 2024 at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park. The senior from Galena, Missouri, went 2 for 4 in the game and his fourth inning solo shot put Drury in the lead.
 
The Panthers overcame an injury to starting pitcher Jack Jones, who faced only two batters until he had to exit, and scored eight runs to hold off the Prairie Stars.
