23 from Drury swimming & diving named Scholar All-Americans

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury swimming & diving program had 23 student-athletes named Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America. Nine members of the women’s team were honored, along with 14 from the men’s squad. 
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a “B” time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
The Drury women’s team won the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship and finished third at the NCAA-II Championships. The DU men’s squad was the NCAA-II Runner-Up for the fourth straight season.
