Drury Baseball under consideration for NCAA-II Midwest Regional

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The Drury Panthers baseball team has been named as one of nine teams under consideration for the 2024 NCAA-II Midwest Regional rankings.

Seven will be selected to the NCAA-II Midwest Regional, which will be played on May 16-19. In the field of nine, the other GLVC teams under consideration are Illinois Springfield, Maryville, and Indianapolis. The other regional teams under review are Ashland, Northwood, Saginaw Valley, Walsh, and Wayne State.

The Panthers are currently 24-17 on the season and 23-15 in the region, while being two games behind Indianapolis for the top spot in the GLVC standings.

The Panthers are at home this weekend for the final time in the regular season as they host Maryville in a four-game series starting on Friday. Senior day celebrations will be held on Saturday before game one of the scheduled doubleheader.
