Two Wrestlers Set To Represent Mizzou At 2024 Olympic Team Trials

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri wrestling will have two competitors at the 2024 Wrestling Olympic Team Trials on Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20, at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania. Assistant Coach Dom Bradley will compete in the 125kg freestyle bracket as the four seed, while former student-athlete and current Regional Training Center (RTC) member Jarrett Jacques will battle in the 74kg freestyle bracket as the 12 seed.

Two-time World Champion and two-time NCAA Champion junior Keegan O’Toole qualified for the trials with his U23 Gold Medal but cannot compete due to injury. Additionally, J’den Cox, a three-time NCAA title winner for Missouri at 197 pounds, will fight through the 97 kg bracket as the No. 1 seed. Cox wrestles with the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The team trials mark the fourth for Bradley and the first for Jacques. Cox, a bronze medalist in the 2016 Olympics at 86kg, is attempting to make his second Olympic team and would be the only Mizzou wrestler to do so.

The squad will begin their quest on Friday, April 19, with Session I beginning at 9 a.m. CT. The first session will include preliminaries, quarterfinals and consolation rounds. A full schedule of trials is available below.
