Drury under consideration for NCAA-II Softball Midwest Regional

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Drury softball team has been named as one of ten teams under consideration for the 2024 NCAA-II Midwest Regional rankings.

Eight will be selected to the NCAA-II Midwest Regional played on May 9-11. In the field of ten, the other GLVC teams under consideration are Lewis and Indianapolis. The other regional teams are Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Northwood, Ohio Dominican, Purdue Northwest, Saginaw Valley and Trevecca Nazarene.

This season the Panthers are 24-19, 22-19 in the region. Drury is also 12-6 in the GLVC, sitting third behind Indianapolis and Lewis.

The Panthers are at home this weekend for the final time in the regular season as they host Rockhurst on Saturday and William Jewell on Sunday. Both doubleheaders start at noon with senior day on Sunday.
