SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury women’s golf team finished 11th out of the 18 teams competing in the Arkansas Tech Spring Preview on Tuesday, at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield. The Panthers shot a final round score of 326 (+39) and finished the tournament with a total score of 951 (+87).
Henderson State won the tournament with a team score of 884 (+20). Arkansas Tech finished in second, climbing two spots after shooting a team score of 296 (+8) in the final round. Jinna Boonbumroongsuk of Henderson State won the tournament individually, finishing with a total score of 212 (-4). Megan Brown of Southwestern Oklahoma State placed second with a total score of 220 (+4).
For the Panthers, Isabelle Thrall shot a final round of 80 (+8), finishing T38th and Taryn Overstreet shot an 81 (+9) to finish T46th. Sophomore Grace Stafford finished T51st after a final round score of 83 (+11) and Reagan Martin shot an 82 (+10) to finish T72nd. Jade Carter ended her day in 76th after carding an 86 (+14) and Jacie Pattengill tied for 81st with a finishing round of 87 (+15).
The Panthers will be back in action on April 14th at the Ladies Spring Invitational hosted by Missouri – St. Louis, at Norwood Hills Country Club.
