Panthers sign nine for 2024 season

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Drury women’s soccer head coach Justin Olson has announced the signing of nine players for the 2024 season. Holland Hawkins, Baylea Davis, Claire Giglio, Laramie Hill, Lilliana Jimenez, Keira Love, Zoe Tolksdorf, Brooke Tufts, and Calli Watson have all signed to play for the Panthers next year.

“I am very proud of how this class has come together,” said Olson, who will start his fifth season as head coach next season. “We have added a great balance of local talent, as well as out-of-state and international student-athletes. This class will provide our team with depth and competition within our roster as we continue to build toward another successful season. We can’t wait to get them on campus in August!”
 
Holland Hawkins (Forward, Univ. of Missouri – Kansas City, Central HS, Springfield Missouri)
Holland Hawkins returns home after spending two years at Division I UMKC. During her time with the Roo’s, Hawkins appeared in 32 games scoring one goal and contributing one assist. While at Central, she was a three-time All-Region First Team selection, as well as a three-time all-district and all-conference member. Hawkins was named District MVP and was top 25 in MSHAA for total points in a season with 75. Hawkins was a member of National Honors Society at both Central and at Kansas City.
 
Baylea Davis (Midfielder, Kickapoo HS, Springfield, Missouri)
Baylea Davis is a native of Springfield, Missouri, and attends Kickapoo High School. In her time for the Chiefs, Davis was named a Class 4 Second Team All-State and First Team All-Region performer. She was also voted district MVP and was named First Team All-District twice in her career. Davis has been named co-captain of Kickapoo since sophomore year as well as being named to the 1st Team Academic All-Conference for three straight years. She has been a member of the National Honor Society during her time at Kickapoo.
 
Claire Giglio (Forward, Bolivar HS, Bolivar, Missouri)
Claire Giglio hails from Bolivar, Missouri, and is a student at Bolivar High School. During her time at Bolivar, Giglio was named Class 3 All-State, All-Region, and All-District in 2022. She was also named All-District in 2021. Giglio helped lead the Lady Liberators to a District Championship in 2021. In 2022, Giglio scored 31 goals and had 14 assists.

Laramie Hill (Midfielder, Central HS, Springfield, Missouri)
Laramie Hill is staying home and continuing her play at Harrison Stadium. The Central High School midfielder is from Springfield, Missouri, and has been named to the All-District Team three times. Hill has also been named to the All-Ozark Conference Team three times and made the Academic All-Conference Team seven times between her seasons playing soccer, volleyball, and basketball for Central. The Springfield native is a team captain on the soccer team as well as being named the Student Body Vice President and a National Honor Society member.
 
Lilliana Jimenez (Defender, Lake Ridge HS, Grand Prairie, Texas)
Lilliana Jimenez is a native of Grand Prairie, Texas, and is a student at Lake Ridge High School. In her career at Lake Ridge, Lilliana was named Lake Ridge Defensive MVP, helping lead the Lady Eagles to a Bi-District championship.
 
Keira Love (Forward, Lee’s Summit HS, Lee’s Summit, Missouri)
Keira Love will join the Panthers from Lee’s Summit High School. A native of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Love has been named to the Class 4 All-Region team the past two seasons. She is a two-time First Team All-District honoree and made the all-conference team for three straight seasons. Lee’s Summit has won two conference championships and one district championship during Love’s time with the Tigers. She is also a member of National Honors Society.
 
Zoe Tolksdorf (Midfielder, KGS-Hemmingen, Hemmingen, Germany)
Zoe Tolksdorf hails from Hemmingen, Germany, and attends KGS-Hemmingen. Tolksdorf played for Wolfsburg II before making her way to Hannover 96. Tolksdorf made 13 appearances with Wolfsburg II in the 2 Bundesliga. At Hannover, Tolksdorf played in 14 games and tallied a goal.
 
Brooke Tufts (Defender, St. Dominic HS, O’Fallon Missouri)
Brooke Tufts will come to Drury from O’Fallon, Missouri. Tufts is a student at St. Dominic High School where she has been a four-year letter winner. Tufts was on the St. Dominic team that won the Class 5 state championship her freshman year, and was on the North American Cup Finalists team for St. Louis Scott Gallagher in the ECNL in 2022. She is the President of the Health Occupations Students of America at St. Dominic.
 
Calli Watson (Forward, Marshfield HS, Marshfield, Missouri)
Calli Watson is from Marshfield, Missouri and attends Marshfield High School. Heading into her senior season, Watson has 173 career goals, placing her in the top 10 all-time in the state of Missouri. Watson is a two-time First Team All-State selection and a three-time all-district and all-conference selection. She was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the Central Ozark Conference twice, and she holds the Marshfield record for goals in a career and points in a single season.

The nine signees will join a Drury team that went 12-4-3 and 9-2-2 in the GLVC in 2023.
