Panthers at number 20 in NCAA-II rankings

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men’s tennis team moved to number 20 in this week’s NCAA-II rankings conducted by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Panthers are 9-3 and were idle last week.
 
Saint Leo (17-1) is ranked number one in men’s tennis, while Flagler (12-2) is ranked second and Valdosta State (10-3) is ranked third.
 
Two other teams from the Great Lakes Valley Conference are also in the top 25, with Indianapolis (6-4) ranked eighth and McKendree (10-1) 16th.
 
Two Drury singles players are nationally ranked with Yaroslav Sharyy (15-2) ranked 23rd nationally and Marlon Wilken (11-3) 57th.
 
The Panthers return to action on April 12 when they open the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at home against Rockhurst at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
