Drury men’s tennis ranked 16th in NCAA-II

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury men’s tennis team is ranked 16th in the latest NCAA-II poll released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
 
The Panthers are 9-3 and went 1-1 last week with a 7-0 win over Missouri-St. Louis and a road loss at Harding, 5-2.
 
St. Leo (15-1) is ranked number one in Division II this week, while Valdosta State (9-2) is second, and Flagler (10-2) is ranked third.
 
Two other teams in the Great Lakes Valley Conference are in the top 25 as Indianapolis (6-4) is ranked seventh and McKendree (8-1) is number 12 in this week’s poll.
 
Drury also has two players nationally ranked in singles as Yaroslav Sharyy is ranked 18th and Marlon Wilken is ranked 56th. 
 
The Panthers return to action on April 12 when they open the Great Lakes Valley Conference schedule at home against Rockhurst at the Cooper Tennis Complex.
