Doll Joins MSU Compliance Staff

SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State has announced the addition of Patrick Doll to its Athletics Compliance staff, starting June 17.

Doll will serve under Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance, Amanda Schmelzer, in the role of compliance coordinator. He will provide support in the areas of rules education, enforcement and interpretation.

Most recently, Doll has served as an intern in the compliance department at Weber State University after previous internships at the NCAA Office of the Committee on Infractions and Minnesota State University in Mankato. 

Originally from Roberts, Mont., he is a 2018 cum laude graduate of North Dakota State University where he earned his degree in Quantitative Economics with minors in Mathematics and Political Science. He also earned a Master of Arts in Sports Management from Minnesota State in 2021. Doll is currently a juris doctor candidate at Marquette University Law School, as well as a sports law certificate candidate from the National Sports Law Institute..

His hire is contingent upon formal approval by the Missouri State University Board of Governors at its next scheduled meeting.
