Panthers place 9th at Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational

BOLIVAR, Mo. –The Drury Panthers finished in 9th place after completing the second and final round of play in the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational, at Silo Ridge Country Club in Bolivar, Missouri, on Tuesday. 
 
The Panthers finished at 97-over-par for a team score of 673 and the Drury (B) grouping finished in 12th with a score of 693. Central Missouri was able to capitalize on their day one lead, winning the tournament by 23 shots over second place Rogers State. 
 
Morgan Brasser from Fort Hayes State won the tournament individually, with a total score of (+1) 145. Libby Green of Central Missouri climbed to second place after firing a tournament low round of two-under-par on Tuesday, finishing at (+2) 146. Freshman Jade Carter led the Panthers with a T-27th finish, while Isabelle Thrall and Taryn Overstreet finished tied for 35th and 38th.

The Panthers will be back in action on April 8th at the Regional Spring Invitational hosted by Arkansas Tech, which will be played at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.
