The Missouri men’s basketball team makes the short trip to face Southeastern Conference rival Arkansas on Saturday. Tipoff at Bud Walton Arena is set for 11 a.m. on ESPN2.

ABOUT THE TIGERS
• Missouri is 8-18 during the 2023-24 season with a 0-13 record in SEC action.
• Nationally-ranked Tennessee rallied past Mizzou on Tuesday with the No. 5 Volunteers earning a 72-67 win.
• Graduates Sean East II and Noah Carter each eclipsed 20 points in Tuesday’s game with East scoring 24 and Carter chipping in 20.

• Davonte Davis has a team-best 2.0 assists, while Trevon Brazile leads Arkansas with 6.5 boards.
• The Razorbacks owns a scoring offense of 75.2 points with a scoring defense of 77.8.

SERIES HISTORY
• In a series that dates back to the 1950-51 season, Arkansas holds a 34-27 advantage over Mizzou.

• Additionally, East’s 9.1-point improvement is the largest by a Tiger since Matt Lawrence increased his average by 9.7 from 2005-06 (1.5) to 2006-07 (11.2).

TOP PASSER AND SCORER
• Graduate guard Sean East II can beat you in a number of ways and not just with his scoring.
• East currently leads the Tigers with 16.4 points and 4.3 assists per game.
• East is aiming to be the sixth player in MU history to average 15.0 points and 4.0 assists in a season.
• East is one of four players in the SEC to rank in the top 10 in both points and assists, placing eighth in points and fourth in assists.

HONOR LEADS 3-POINT CHARGE
• Graduate Nick Honor has led the charge for the Tigers from beyond the 3-point arc this season, making 60 triples with his 39.5 percent clip.
• Honor has made multiple triples in each of the last 10 games, the second-longest streak by a Tiger in SEC play – topped only by Kassius Robertson (12 in 2017-18).
• In addition, Honor is the first Tiger with at least 50 triples in back-to-back seasons since Jabari Brown did so in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
• Overall, Honor ranks seventh in the SEC and 146th nationally with 2.31 triples per game, while placing fourth on Mizzou with 10.7 points.

DOUBLE-DIGIT OPTIONS
• Missouri has four players it can count on to consistently put up points this season.
• Four Tigers are currently scoring in double figures with Sean East II leading the way with 16.4 and followed by Tamar Bates (13.7), Noah Carter (11.8) and Nick Honor (10.7).
• Mizzou has not finished a season with four players averaging in double figures since five did so during the 2012-13 campaign.
• Overall, 11 different Tigers have scored at least 10 points in a game this season – most by MU since the 2017-18 team also had 11.

NEED FOR MORE SCORING DEPTH
• While the Tigers have four consistent double-digit scorers, Mizzou has struggled to find options behind the team’s leaders.
• With injuries mounting, the four players have combined to score 78.9 percent of the team’s points during SEC play.
• The next highest average by the Tigers versus conference foes is Aidan Shaw at 3.2 points.
• Overall, in its 13 SEC games, only four times has a bench player reached double-digit scoring for Mizzou.
