Pascal Corvino Signs Deal with USL Greenville Triumph

SPRINGFIELD – Former Missouri State men’s soccer midfielder Pascal Corvino (2021-23) has signed his first professional deal with the Greenville Triumph of the United Soccer League, the team announced Friday morning.

Corvino joins Jack Denton, Javier Martin Gil and Alejandro Lopez as Bears that played in 2023 to sign professional deals right out of Springfield. Lopez signed with AD Guanacasteca in the Costa Rica Premier División in his home country, while Denton and Martin Gil each signed with the Spokane Velocity in the same league as the Triumph in USL League 1.

Corvino, who joined Missouri State after two seasons at USC Upstate, returns to South Carolina after a successful three-year stint with the Bears that resulted in three NCAA Tournament appearances, two Missouri Valley Conference championships and a combined 41-8-7 record.

While at Missouri State, Corvino played 1,165 minutes including a career-high 793 minutes in 2023. He was a presence on both sides of the field where he aided the Bears to a 240-113 shot differential and a 31-14 goal differential last season, good for tied for 23rd in Division I.
