Drury faces local rival Southwest Baptist on Sunday
Drury is back at home on Sunday and will take on local rival Southwest Baptist at 2:30 p.m. at Harrison Stadium / Curry Sports Complex.
 
The Panthers are 2-5-5, 2-3-3 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference and have gone 2-1-2 in their last five games. Drury enters Sunday’s game coming off of a 2-0 loss at 18th ranked Illinois Springfield. The Bearcats are 2-7-1 and 1-6-1 in the GLVC. SBU battled Quincy to a 1-1 tie on the road in their last game.
 
Drury has never lost to Southwest Baptist, having won all ten games played against the Bearcats. The Panthers edged SBU 2-1 last season in Bolivar.
 
Lui Bull leads the Panthers with two goals, one assist, and five points. The freshman from England has at least one point in three of his last five games.
 
Titouan Fraslin has three goals and one assist for Southwest Baptist.
 
Sunday’s game is the first of three straight home games for the Panthers. Drury hosts Rockhurst next Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Country Soccer Complex, then William Jewell on Oct. 22 at Harrison Stadium.
