Panthers in 15th in 2nd round of MSSU Fall Invitational

MONKEY ISLAND, Okla.— Drury is in 15th place among 20 teams in the second round of the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational at the Shangri-La Golf Resort in Monkey Island, Oklahoma on Monday. Play was suspended by darkness in the second round as play was delayed Monday morning due to fog.
 
The Panthers are at 14-over-par and in 15th place and will resume play on Tuesday only two shots back of Southwestern Oklahoma State for 14th and seven strokes behind Missouri Western State for 13th. Oklahoma Christian leads the tournament and is 18-under-par. Rogers State and Central Missouri are tied for second at 12-under-par.
 
Clayton Kaiser leads Drury and is tied for 37th among 108 players and is at even-par through 32 holes. The senior from Monett, Missouri, shot a one-over-par 73 in his first 18 holes and is one-under-par in the second round. Hunter Jowers is tied for 69th and is five-over-par. Walker Tynes is tied for 77th at +6, while Alex Wiseman is tied for 85th (+7), and Kal Kolar is tied for 88th at eight-over-par.
 
Max Bialy from Southwestern Oklahoma State and Nick Canales from Central Oklahoma are tied for the tournament lead at eight-under-par.
 
The tournament will resume with a shotgun start on Tuesday morning and will be followed by the third and final round.
