Cody Bahl named honorable mention All-Midwest Region

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—  Drury baseball’s Cody Bahl was named an honorable mention All-Midwest Region selection by the National College Baseball Writer’s Association as a starting pitcher.
 
Bahl went 6-2 with a 2.71 earned run average this season. His ERA ranked second in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The left-hander from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, worked 76.1 innings, allowed 73 hits, 29 runs and 23 earned runs with 34 walks and 62 strikeouts. In 12 starts this season, Bahl registered two complete games and had one shutout. Earlier this spring, he was selected as a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and he will enter his junior year with the Panthers with a career record of 18-4.
 
Drury ended the season 30-24 and advanced to the GLVC Tournament championship game this season.
