Volleyball Adds Syracuse Transfer Naomi Franco

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Volleyball Head Coach Dawn Sullivan announced Monday the addition of transfer Naomi Franco.

Franco, a 6-3 right side hitter from Fayetteville, Georgia, transfers to Mizzou after three seasons at Syracuse.

In 2022, Franco was third on the Orange with 257 kills (2.5 kills/set) on a .227 hitting clip (second on team). She chipped in 68 blocks (four solo, 64 assists), good for third on the team.

Franco recorded a career high 23 kills at Wake Forest (9/30/22) and served as a team captain this past season at Syracuse.

In three seasons with the Orange, she totaled 479 kills, 143 total blocks (13 solo, 130 assists) and 110 digs.

In high school, Franco earned AVCA All-America Honorable Mention and was a first-team all-region selection. She also lettered in basketball and lacrosse.

Franco is the fourth transfer for Sullivan after the addition of libero Maya Sands in January, along with graduate transfers Dilara Gedikoglu, and Colleen Finney this past week.
