Drury opens GLVC Tournament on Friday

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Drury women’s tennis team travels to Indianapolis, Indiana, to start their 2023 postseason at the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament. Drury will face McKendree on Friday morning at 8 am (Central) in the quarterfinal round.
 
The Panthers earned the top seed in the GLVC West, going 13-4 overall this season and 5-0 in the GLVC. McKendree is the fourth seed in the East after going 8-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
 
Earlier this season, Drury defeated McKendree 5-2 in O’Fallon, Ill.
 
The winner of the match will take on the winner of Lewis and Rockhurst on Saturday, April 22nd at 8 am (Cental) at Clark Pleasant Middle School in Indianapolis. The championship match will be played on Sunday at Center Grove High School at 8 am (Central).
