Panthers compete at Mule Relays

WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Drury competed at the Mule Relays, hosted by Central Missouri, on Friday in Warrensburg.
 
Drury’s best men’s finisher was Cole Sutton, who finished third and set a team record in the 800 meter run. Sutton, a sophomore from O’Fallon, Missouri, ran the 800 in 1:53.35 and was 1.53 seconds behind the winning time. 

Drew Robinson, who finished fourth in the 400 meter hurdles. The freshman from Maplewood, Missouri, posted a time of 57.91.
 
William Purifoy was sixth in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 33:28.00. Two Panthers had 10th place finishes. James Sly was 10th among 62 runners in the 1500 run, completing a time of 4:03.12. Thomas Schuster was 10th in the 800 meter run as he ran a time of 1:59.42 in a field of 53 runners.
 
Kami Vaidziulyte was Drury’s top women’s finisher as she completed the 1500 meter run in 4:56.85 to finish sixth.
