SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— The Drury Panthers are back at home this weekend as they host Truman State in a four games series, Friday through Sunday, at US Baseball Park in Ozark. Friday’s game starts at 5 pm and is followed by a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 pm, then a Sunday game at noon.
 
Drury is 21-16 and 12-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers lost three of four games last weekend at Indianapolis but won the final game of the series 6-3. Drury is 14-3 on the home field so far this season but is coming off a loss in a non-conference game to Pittsburg State, 6-5, on April 4 in their last contest at US Baseball Park.
 
Truman State is 14-19 and 4-12 in the GLVC. The Bulldogs split a four-game set with Missouri-St. Louis last weekend, winning the first two games (16-1 and 8-6) and losing the last two, 6-2 and 13-7.
 
The Panthers have gone 21-6 against Truman State since 2014. The two teams did not play one another last year, but Drury won three of four against the Bulldogs in 2021. This weekend’s series will be Truman State’s first on Drury’s home field since 2017.
