INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.— Drury tied for ninth among 13 teams at the Ken Partridge Invitational hosted by Indianapolis on Tuesday at Purgatory Golf Club in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Panthers moved up one spot in Tuesday’s final round and finished with a 42-over-par 906 in the 54-hole tournament.
Grand Valley State, ranked eighth nationally, won the tournament shooting 14-under-par as a team. The Lakers won by nine shots as Missouri-St. Louis finished second, and Findlay came in third at 16-over-par (291).
Alex Wiseman led Drury and finished tied for 30th, shooting a nine-over-par 225 for the tournament. Walker Tynes tied for 33rd (+10, 226), and Clayton Kaiser tied for 40th (+11, 227). Hunter Jowers tied for 48th, shooting 230 (+14), and Cooper Hess tied for 60th after posting an 18-over-par 234.
Charles Delong from Grand Valley State won individual medalist honors in the tournament, finishing 11-under-par and winning by five shots.
Drury returns to action in the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship tournament on April 17-19 at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Missouri.
