Panthers finish 4th at Music City Invitational

OLD HICKORY, Tenn.— The Drury Panthers finished fourth in a 12-team field, and Drury’s Alex Wiseman tied for fourth in a 61-player field at the Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene at the Hermitage Golf Course General’s Retreat in Old Hickory, Tennessee.
 
The Panthers shot 293 in Tuesday’s final round to finish with a six-over-par 582 in the 36-hole tournament. Missouri S&T won the tournament and finished one-under-par (575). Maryville was second by one shot, and Northwood was third (579).
 
Wiseman, a freshman from Williamsville, Missouri, shot his lowest 36-hole score of the season as he posted a one-under-par 71 on Monday and Tuesday. He finished two shots back of the individual winner. Hunter Jowers tied for ninth, putting up an even-par 144. Cooper Hess tied for fourth at one-over (145). Clayton Kaiser and Walker Tynes both shot a nine-over-par 153 to tie for 47th.
 
Andrew Kolar from Ashland, Caleb Bond of Ferris State, and Joey Friedel from Missouri S&T all tied for first with a four-under-par 140. 
 
Drury returns to action April 10-11 in the Ken Partridge Invitational hosted by Indianapolis in Noblesville, Indiana.
