Nastasia Jedrychowski named GLVC Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury’s Natasia Jedrychowski was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in women’s tennis for the week of March 27-April 2.
 
Jedrychowski won both of her singles matches as the number one singles as well as her doubles matches with Alma Abazi. Jedrychowski defeated Quincy’s Varvara Griva (6-2, 6-1) and Truman State’s Akansha Negi (6-0, 6-0). Her doubles wins with Abazi were against Quincy’s Juliana Vidal and Anna Matino (6-2) and Truman State’s Calle Hepfinger and Kennidy Shirey (6-1).
 
This honor is the second conference player of the week in Jedrychowski’s career, with the first coming last year, in the week of March 10, 2022. Jedrychowski is also the second Panther to earn GLVC Player of the Week this year. The first was Ewa Samberger the week of February 12-19.
Drury is 10-4 and returns to action on Friday when they travel to Liberty to take on William Jewell and Saturday when they travel to Kansas City to take on Rockhurst.
