SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Drury steps out of conference on Tuesday as they take on Pittsburg State at US Baseball Park at 5 pm.
 
The Panthers have won five straight and are coming off a four-game series sweep of Southwest Baptist last weekend. Drury is 20-12, and they own a 14-2 mark at home.
 
Pittsburg State is 23-10 and won two of three games last weekend at Central Oklahoma. The Gorillas picked up a 9-5 win to close out the series on Sunday in their last game and they have gone 8-3 on the road. Drury will be the second team from the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pittsburg State has played this year. The Gorillas lost to Missouri S&T 13-7 on March 29.
 
Drury has gone 2-2 against Pittsburg State since 2012, with all four games played on the road. The two teams have not played one another since 2014 when the Gorillas were 13-8 winners in Kansas.
 
The Panthers return to conference play on Thursday when they open a four-game series at Indianapolis at 2 pm.
