Former Logan-Rogersville, Missouri State Star Dylan Cole Inks Deal with Chicago Bears

Former Bears All-American Dylan Cole came into the NFL in 2017 as an undrafted free agent. Seven years later, the 28-year-old is still making his mark in football.

Thursday morning Cole announced he is signing a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears.

He played his first four NFL seasons with the Houston Texans, and played the last two seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

Cole is coming off his most successful season in the league, finishing with career highs in games played (15), tackles (63), tackles for loss (4), starts (8) and defensive snaps (438).

Prior to his time in the NFL, Cole was an outstanding linebacker and All-State running back at Logan-Rogersville, compiling over 2,000 yards and over 100 tackles as a senior, leading the Wildcats to a state championship in 2011.

At Missouri State, he collected over 450 career tackles, was twice named first-team All-Missouri Valley, and was an All-American his senior year in 2016.

His 457 career tackles are the third-most in Bears history.

The monetary details of his contract have not been released at this time.
