Women’s Golf Takes on MountainView Collegiate in Arizona

The Missouri women’s golf team is set to host the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Arizona this weekend, beginning on Friday.

TOURNAMENT INFO
The Tigers are hosting the three-day tournament at MountainView Golf Club with 18 holes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The first two days will see pairings tee off from the first and 10th holes before Sunday’s action features a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. CT.

Joining Mizzou is a competitive 17-team field that includes 11 teams placed in the top 50 in the latest GolfStat rankings. The Tigers are joined by No. 6 San Jose State, No. 23 Ohio State, No. 26 Iowa State, No. 34 Arkansas, No. 36 Houston, No. 37 TCU, No. 41 New Mexico, No. 42 Tulsa, No. 44 North Texas, No. 49 Nebraska, No. 50 North Carolina, Kansas State, New Mexico State, Southern Miss, Wisconsin and UNLV.

The three-day tournament is set for the MountainView Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona with the par-72 course measuring 6,352 yards long.

TIGERS AT THE MOUNTAINVIEW COLLEGIATE
Mizzou is set to compete at the MountainView Collegiate for the ninth time, participating every year the tournament since 2013 other than a two-year absence due to COVID in 2020 and 2021.

The Tigers have finished in the top five on four previous occasions at the tournament, placing as high as third in 2014 and 2018. Last year, MU finished 15th with Noelle Beijer leading the team with a one-under 215.

UP NEXT
The Tigers are set for their final tournament of the regular-season, competing at The Bruzzy in Denton, Texas. The two-day tournament is set to begin on Saturday, April 1.
