Frank, Judd Earn All-SEC Honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri Women’s Basketball team’s senior forward Hayley Frank and freshman guard Ashton Judd earned All-Southeastern Conference honors as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Frank was named to the All-SEC Second Team while Judd was recognized on the All-SEC Freshman Team.

The senior has continued her standout colligate career leading the Tigers and ranking ninth in the conference with 15.4 points per game while adding 4.1 rebounds. Frank, an extremely efficient scorer, is converting  46.4 percent of her attempts from the floor, 39.9 percent of her shots from beyond the arc and is second in the conference knocking down 84.8 percent of her attempts from the charity stripe.

The Strafford, Mo. native scored 20 or more points on 10 occasions, including a season-high total of 26 points in a pair of contests against Tennessee on Jan. 22 and Alabama on Feb. 5.

Frank moved into the upper echelon of program greats as she climbed from 34th to 10th on Missouri’s all-time scoring leaderboard during the regular-season campaign.

The forward has previously been recognized on the All-SEC Freshman Team as well as claiming second-team recognition a year ago.

Judd, a late addition to the Tigers’ 2022 class, was among the elites of first-year conference newcomers.

The West Plains, Mo. native is averaging 7.4 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in her inaugural season with the Tigers.

Judd ranks third in the SEC shooting 44.1 percent from 3-point range. The conversion percentage is first among Missouri freshmen all-time.

Elevating her play down the stretch, the first-year guard scored in double figures four times in a five-game stretch in February. She was awarded SEC Freshman of the Week honors after pouring in a season-high 17 points in a victory over Mississippi State and 16 points in a win over Texas A&M on Feb. 20.
