Drury faces Lewis in the season finale
The Drury Panthers finish the regular season on Saturday as they Lewis at the O’Reilly Family Event Center. Tipoff is at 1 pm.

The game is a rematch of an overtime thriller from Jan. 12 that saw the Panthers win 79-78 in Romeoville, Illinois.

Drury is 8-19 and 4-15 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers lost at home on Thursday to Illinois Springfield 99-89. Lewis is also 8-19 and is 3-16 in the GLVC. The Flyers were edged at Missouri 61-59 on Thursday in Rolla.

The Panthers are led by freshman Logan Applegate who is averaging 13.2 points. The Nevada, Missouri, product is shooting .396 from three-point range and .824 from the free throw line. Sophomore Brock Wakefield ranks second in the GLVC steals with 44 and 1.7 per game.

Beau Frericks leads the Flyers in scoring and ranks ninth in the league averaging 15 points. His .923 free throw percentage is the second-best mark in the GLVC.

Threes from Applegate
Drury freshman Logan Applegate enters Saturday’s game with 65 three-pointers on the season. The total is the 20th most ever in a single season at Drury. He ranks one behind Alex Hall’s total of 66 in the 2011-12 season and is two back of Kameron Bundy in 2014-15, and Conley Garrison in 2017-18. The program record for threes in a season is Hall’s total of 125 in Drury’s national championship season in 2012-13.
