SPRINGFIELD, Mo.— Drury earned a 4-0 sweep of Harding on Friday at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
The Panthers improved to 2-1 and dropped the Bisons to 0-3.
Drury took a 1-0 lead in doubles as Ewe Samberger / Kseniia Eremina won 6-3, and Maria Maria Fernanda De la Torre Ugarte Espejo / Clara Kuehnle posted a 6-2 victory. The Panthers then got three victories in singles as Kuehnle, Samberger, and Alma Alazi all picked up straight-set wins to complete the sweep.
Drury plays again on Sunday as they take on Emporia State at 11 am on the indoor courts of the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.
