Lady Panthers continue road stint with trip to Rockhurst
Drury plays their second of three-straight road games on Saturday when they take on Rockhurst at 1 pm in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
The Lady Panthers are ranked second in NCAA-II and enter the game with a 15-game winning streak. Drury is 19-1 and 12-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. They continued their run on Thursday with an 80-54 victory at Southwest Baptist.
 
Rockhurst is 9-10 and 4-7 in the GLVC. The Hawks took down Missouri S&T on Thursday, 72-65, at home in their last game. Rockhurst is 6-3 at Mason-Halpin Fieldhouse this year.
 
After Saturday’s game, Drury travels to Missouri S&T for a 5:30 pm game on Feb. 2.

Drury 80 Southwest Baptist 54 (Thur. at SBU)
— Drury trailed 31-27 at halftime marking only the third time this year they’ve been behind at the half
— Freshman Rhi Gibbons came off of the bench to score a career-high 20 points

Drury leads the all-time series against Rockhurst 42-2. The Lady Panthers won all three games against the Hawks last year as they swept the regular season series and won their GLVC Quarterfinal match-up in Edwardsville, Ill. Drury lost their first-ever game against Rockhurst on Jan. 27, 2001, then didn’t lose to the Hawks again until Feb. 2, 2021, when the Lady Panthers fell at home 75-69, snapping a 74-game home-court winning streak.
