Lady Panthers continue road stint with trip to Rockhurst
Drury plays their second of three-straight road games on Saturday when they take on Rockhurst at 1 pm in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
The Lady Panthers are ranked second in NCAA-II and enter the game with a 15-game winning streak. Drury is 19-1 and 12-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. They continued their run on Thursday with an 80-54 victory at Southwest Baptist.
 
Rockhurst is 9-10 and 4-7 in the GLVC. The Hawks took down Missouri S&T on Thursday, 72-65, at home in their last game. Rockhurst is 6-3 at Mason-Halpin Fieldhouse this year.
 
After Saturday’s game, Drury travels to Missouri S&T for a 5:30 pm game on Feb. 2.

— Drury trailed 31-27 at halftime marking only the third time this year they’ve been behind at the half

The Lady Panthers won all three games against the Hawks last year as they swept the regular season series and won their GLVC Quarterfinal match-up in Edwardsville, Ill. Drury lost their first-ever game against Rockhurst on Jan. 27, 2001, then didn’t lose to the Hawks again until Feb. 2, 2021, when the Lady Panthers fell at home 75-69, snapping a 74-game home-court winning streak.
